The AlterG training device is a body-weight-supported treadmill for walking and running, suitable for almost everyone. The device is located at Orton in Helsinki.

Reduces impact of gravity
It can reduce the impact of gravity by up to 80% of body weight, making it especially suitable for rehabilitation after an injury or surgery. The reduction of gravitational load allows for pain-free training even in the early stages of recovery.
Body-weight-supported training is beneficial for:
- Lower limb joint problems
- Pain-relieving exercise
- Strength, fitness, and balance training for the elderly
- Weight management
- Neurological rehabilitation
Using AlterG training device
For the first session, an individual one-hour physiotherapy appointment is scheduled. This includes an initial assessment by a physiotherapist, training with the device, and a plan for continued training. Follow-up training can be done as part of physiotherapy or independently.
