Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) was ranked as the 21st best hospital in the world in an international study measuring treatment quality in hospitals and patient satisfaction.
In close cooperation with its owner HUS, Orton Hospital offers medical examinations, appointments and surgical services carried out by HUS experts in a number of specialties — both in Orton’s own premises in Helsinki as well as in the care units of HUS.
In this study the quality of hospital care was assessed using different medical key performance indicators. The assessment was carried out by a team including leading healthcare experts from different countries. In addition to the expert assessment, patient satisfaction was measured.
Orton Hospital was also mentioned among the hospitals listed. Among the Finnish hospitals, it ranked number 15, being the only private hospital.
The study was published in Newsweek magazine earlier this year.
