If the images were taken after 1 May 2026, request them from HUS. See HUS instructions for requesting images.
Patients
Patients can request imaging studies taken at Orton through our customer service at 040 4748 2705.
If you want to protect your personal data, we recommend using a secure email connection. Instructions for sending secure email.
Please include the following information in your message:
- Patient’s name and personal identity number
- Date and type of examination (if known)
- Whether you want the images by email or on a CD (delivered by post or collected from
- Tenholantie; bring ID)
- Contact details of the person requesting the images (if different from the patient)
- The requester must confirm that the patient has no prohibition on disclosure. Please include this in the request.
Requesting images is free of charge.
Healthcare Professionals
Healthcare professionals can request images from Orton via Secure email (see instructions for sending secure email).

In urgent situations, images can be requested from Orton’s customer service on weekdays between 7:45 and 15:00.
Please include the following information:
- Patient’s name and personal identity number
- Date and type of examination
- Organization details
- Preferred delivery method (electronic transfer or CD collection from Tenholantie)
- Contact details of the requester
- The requester must confirm that the patient has no prohibition on disclosure. Please include this information in the request.
We do not provide image copies on an emergency basis. Requesting images is free of charge.
Images transferred onto a CD can be collected from Orton’s reception (1st floor, D wing; bring ID). HUS Imaging centralized customer service handles, among other things, orders for image copies and image transfer requests for both patients and professionals, as well as importing images stored on external media into the HUS PACS system.
